New Product Finds!

 

Here we go again.  I've stumbled across some more products that were shared by other bloggers on the internet.  They are good deals or good products that I wanted to share.

As usual on Amazon and Walmart, you never know how long these items will last (I can't share one item I received only yesterday because it's already sold out).  So if you are interested in an item, it's worth a click and buy to at least look at it in person and then make your decision if you want to keep or return.  

Let's get to it then.  Here are four products you should definitely check out!

• Kanu Surf Women's Darren Stretch UPF 50+ Active Swim and Workout Boardshort - These shorts are currently 5% off and cost about $20 a pair, but they are so worth it!  I paired mine with a very popular (and now sold out) swimsuit from Walmart.  Super cute.  I'm going to be watching them to see if they go on sale for Prime Day.  I def. want more!
  
  
• Ozark Trail 24 Can Soft Cooler Tote - This tote is only $8.88!  It is super cute, and I've already used mine a few times.  It comes in a light green, pink, and tan.  It says it will hold 24 cans, but I had a big loaf pan of homemade ice cream in mind, and I've seen others online really filling this bag up with so many different things.  For $8, it can't be beat!
  
  
  
  
• Time and Tru Women's and Women's Plus Crinkle One-Piece Swimsuit - If you haven't been shopping Walmart lately, you are really missing out.  They have upped their clothing and home goods presence, and it's a game changer for sure.  This swimsuit sells out quickly.  Right now, there are still a few in stock, and for $25, it can't be beat.  Pair it with the Boardshorts above, and I just ordered another color because I love it so much!  Hurry, sizes are going quick!

• Athletic Works Women's and Women's Plus Size Buttercore Soft Performance Gym Shorts - I ordered three pairs, and just like the blogger I saw talking about them, I couldn't take them off, wearing them several days in a row.  They are HANDS DOWN the softest and most comfortable, flattering shorts I have bought in a long time.  For only $6.98, they can't be beat!

  I rarely post products and specials, but I thought I'd post about these fun shoes from Avia.  They come in different patterns and colors, but you know - it's me - and when I saw these, my first thought was, "Those would be perfect for Disney's Animal Kingdom!"

• Better Homes & Gardens Pottery 12" Fischer Round Ceramic Planter, Green - I love the new mid-century modern items from Walmart.  This planter was so nice, I bought one in store and then another one online.  I'm going to make one a planter and one a solar fountain (that item shown below).  It also comes in a white (a more popular color), but that version is still almost $20!  The green color has been marked down to under $10.  That is an incredible deal for a heavy, ceramic planter of this size.

All New ‘Disney Jr. Live on Tour: Let’s Play,’ Coming to Fox Theatre on Nov. 3

 

“Disney Jr. Live on Tour: Let’s Play,” presented by Walmart, marks the latest version of the Disney Jr. live tour, which will visit Atlanta on Nov. 3, 2024, at the Fox Theatre.

New to the tour this year is the addition of Ariel from the highly anticipated new series “Disney Jr.’s Ariel,” who will make her debut alongside Mickey, Minnie, and other friends.

Presale tickets are available starting Thursday, May 16, at 10 a.m. local, with all tickets available at the general on-sale Friday, May 17, at 10 a.m. local.

Minnie, Goofy, and characters from other fan-favorite Disney Jr. series, including “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” and “SuperKitties” will join. The tour will also feature the iconic Clubhouse from “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.”

Presale tickets are available at foxtheatre.org starting Thursday, May 16, at 10 a.m., and all tickets will be available at the general on-sale Friday, May 17, at 10 a.m.

The newest iteration of the three-time Pollstar-nominated (2019, 2020, 2022) Disney Jr. Live Tour, which has sold over 750,000 tickets, kicks off the 2024 tour in Southern California on Sept. 17 at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa. It will make its first-ever appearance at Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sept. 20. Additional stops include The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, The Opry House in Nashville, and the Rosemont Theatre in Chicago. VIP packages, including admission to the VIP preparty interactive experience, are available for purchase.

Inspired by hit series from the 24-hour Disney Jr. channel, in “Disney Jr. Live on Tour: Let’s Play,” Mickey is getting ready for the biggest playdate ever at the Clubhouse with all his favorite pals, including Minnie, Goofy, the “Puppy Dog Pals,” Ginny and Bitsy from “SuperKitties,” and Ariel from “Disney Jr.’s Ariel,” but mysterious weather keeps interrupting the fun. Can Team Spidey from “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” find out who is behind this and help save the playdate?

I was recently contacted by American Express to try out Walmart+ (or W+) for a discounted price.

I'm not a huge fan of simplicity or letting others "help" me, but I thought - "Why not?"  I decided toroll the dice and try it.

You know what?  I'm so glad I did!  It has been great so far.  

I love the free shipping times and turnarounds and even tried out having my grocery order delivered to my front porch (a little weird to get used to but I think I could)!  Was it perfect?  No, it wasn't.

My Walmart shopper overlooked a few things and didn't read my note on an item, but overall, it was a trip I didn't have to make to the store.

Another thing I am enjoying with ordering online is that Walmart will replace an out of stock item with another item that is comparable.  I like this because I will normally try and buy the most economical version of an item (which is usually their Great Value brand).  When my GV item is out of stock, Walmart will replace it with a competitor's brand, which is normally much more expensive and therefore, not one I would have tried.

Walmart has released a few new items for our kitchens this holiday season.  Two appliances - an Olaf waffle maker and a Mickey Mouse Instapot - are now available for purchase.

The Mickey Mouse Instapot comes in three colors - Black, red, and white.  The Olaf waffle maker cooks Olaf waffles in sections so you can pose him however you want on your plate!

Disney has always been gracious lending out their characters for kitchen appliances.  In the past, we have seen Mickey Mouse toasters, waffle makers, and pancake molds.  Now, with the addition of Frozen characters to appliances, we can have a well-rounded and MAGICAL dining experience!

Walmart Seagrass Tree Collar FINALLY Available for Pick Up!

 

This fabulous Holiday Time woven Christmas tree collar is now available for pick up from your local Walmart store.

Previously, this popular item was only available if you went to the store and bought it.  Thank goodness it can now be shopped online.

This collar measures 27" and so it is a good bit larger than the Buffalo Plaid ones I showcased earlier.  Another great farmhouse addition to the Christmas tree this year.

My store had only a few left, so if you love this collar, I'd order it now before it's gone for the season (and yes, I do remember it's only September).

Walmart Tree Collar Great Deal!

 

Y'all ready for one more Christmas post?

Here is another wonderful farmhouse-look product from walmart.com.  This product is also not available in stores and for online ordering only (see previous wreath post).

This is Walmart's Holiday Time red and black buffalo check Christmas tree stand band (22").  Shockingly, it is under $12!

I've already ordered two.  Of course, I won't know how they look with my trees for a couple of months yet, but I can promise you that at $12, they won't last long.  Other tree collars are in the $20 and up price range.

I ordered these last week while I was on vacation, and I opened my package today.  The item folds up for flat storage and has a clear plastic tube that is inserted around the top to make it stable.  It velcros to stay together.  I really like it, and if it doesn't go with my trees, it can be returned.

If you're a staunch Walmart customer and have a busy schedule, this may be a great new service for you.  Walmart is promoting their new membership program by stating that if you order delivery only twice, the membership pays for itself.  (I've never used Walmart's delivery service, so I can't confirm that personally.)

On another front, I am so excited to tell you about a Steal Deal (Great Buy) I found on walmart.com.  I know it's only September, but you know how these things go...if you don't order what I'm about to show you, it will sell out and you'll miss the opportunity.

Thanks to a friendly IG user who originally shared the product, I was able to order two while I was on vacation last week.  I opened the boxes this afternoon, and yes!  Two large white flocked Christmas wreaths!  (I've been wanting a flocked Christmas tree and some wreaths for a while.)

With the farmhouse and modern industrial looks being so popular for the last few years, the flocked Christmas items are really in style and match both looks perfectly.  For that very reason, they either sell out quickly or cost an arm and a leg.

That's why I was so excited to find this wreath:

It's 24" and white flocked.  Beautiful, and guess what?  It's under $7!

I know it's only September, but this wreath won't last long.  It's so pretty, I went back online and ordered several more.  I can't wait to use them.  Here's a close up of the flocking.  It's thick and not a cheap, light spraying.  This wreath is really, really nice!

It's marked as for indoor use only, but I am going to use mine on a covered front porch.  I think it will be fine there.
