Cash Back Sites

Did you know you can shop at cash back websites to help earn passive income?

With so many people spending money online these days, cash back websites have started popping up everywhere.  There are four that I use regularly and that are dependable and trustworthy.  There may be more out there, but these are the four I bookmark and use on a regular basis.

These cash back websites (companies) will actually pay you for shopping through their links.  Just a few steps, and you will be on your way to earning money for doing what you are already doing - shopping online.

  • Visit the websites I have highlighted below (click on the company names to be linked to their website) and sign up for a new account.

  • Sign up how you would like to be paid.  Many cash back sites will pay via a check mailed to your home, but now, new forms of payment are popping up including Venmo, PayPal, and gift cards!

  • If you want and one is available, add the company's Chrome extension to your browser.  These extensions show you how much you can earn from each purchase at the website you are visiting and RetailMeNot even offers to try and apply all known coupons to what is in your cart. 👌

  • Grab a referral link and share your new account with family and friends.  Many of these sites will reward you for referring new customers to them.

That's it.  You are now set up and ready to start shopping.  😀

Here's how each company works:

  • Visit the website you are interested in or purchasing from.

  • If you have a cash back company's Chrome extension installed, you will see a small window pop open and show you the percentage you can earn back on your purchase.

  • Click on their window if you are interested and want to accept the percentage back they offer for the store you are shopping at.  (Note that multiple windows may open if you have several Chrome extensions installed.  You can compare the percentages and pick the largest one!)

  • You will be taken to the store's website via the activation link you just clicked.

  • That's it!  Shop as you normally would and within a few days your cash back will be added to your account.

Each cash back company is different, so check with each one for their policy on cashing out the rebates you have earned.  Some have minimum thresholds you must reach before being allowed to take out your money.  Some companies still mail paper checks, and some have added more electronic methods like Venmo and Paypal.

I've listed a few of my favorites below.  Drop me a line if I missed any that you love to shop through!  I would love to add to my list.  My email is birchburlap@att.net.

Happy shopping my friends!  Questions?  Drop me an email, and I'll do my best to help you out!
