Okay-I know it's really late (I mean, it's really, really, REALLY late--even by my standards), but I was submitting a rebate for Staples before heading to bed when something caught my eye.
I've double checked it with a few other bloggers, and it seems to be true. So, I'm posting it for you guys. Here's the deal....
Right now, Stapes is running a Duracell promotion. Buy a 20-pack of Duracell batteries (AAA or AA only) for $12.99 and receive $12.99 back in Staples Rewards (money that can only be used at Staples).
They started this promotion last week for Black Friday. When I saw it, I immediately put in my order, and tonight, this was the reward I was submitting.
Now, here's the part I missed last week. The small print on this reward program promotion states that you can buy TWO packages of 20-packs, not ONE like most promotions! ...AND are you ready for the real kicker? This deal can be done EVERY WEEK up until 12/26!
Yes! That's right! You can get 40 batteries FOR FREE every week until Christmas. That means that if you bought 2, 20-packs starting last week and kept going until the 26th, you'd have 200 batteries!
It sounds TOO GOOD too be true, doesn't it? Well, of course, like all promotions, there are limitations. This one states that this deal is only good, "while supplies last."
...and since my week was up, guess what? I just ordered TWO more 20-packs! (Before the "supplies" were gone.)
Before I go, one other interesting thing about this promotion. Normally, you need a minimum of $50 for free shipping (or you can ship to the store for free), but after putting the two battery packs into my cart and proceeding to check out (to the store of course for the free shipping), the total came up with a delivery of $0 shipping to my home.
I've searched the fine print and can't find a legit reason for this. I only mention it to you because the same thing might happen to your cart or it may not. I'm not sure if it's part of the promotion or if it's a glitch in their system.
I'm just happy to be getting 40 more batteries and their delivery for **FREE** tonight!
