ADULT AND YOUTH ROLES TO BE CAST NOVEMBER 11 - 12

Atlanta, GA (November 2, 2011) – One of the best loved musicals of all time, ANNIE returns to the Fox Theatre January 14 – 22.  Boasting one of Broadway’s most memorable scores, including “It’s the Hard-Knock Life,” “Easy Street,” “N.Y.C.,” and the ever optimistic “Tomorrow,” you can bet your bottom dollar that ANNIE will bring a smile to your face.  “We are delighted that a whole new generation can experience this classic musical about never giving up hope!” says Christopher B Manos, Producer of Theater of the Stars.  Tickets range from $25 - $65 and are on sale now at www.theaterofthestars.com or by calling 800-982-2787. The original Broadway production of ANNIE won seven Tony Awards in 1977, including Best Musical, Book and Score.  It ran for 2,377 performances, and has subsequently been produced all over the world.  The original production is one of the top 20 longest running shows in Broadway history, and ANNIE continues to be one of the most successful musicals ever.
Written by Thomas Meehan and music by Charles Strouse, this Atlanta engagement of ANNIE is being produced by Christopher Manos and directed and choreographed by Norb Joerder.  Michael Dansicker is the musical director and conductor.
 
ANNIE
will play the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta from January 14-22, 2012.  Performances are as follows:  Saturday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.; Sunday, January 15 at 1:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, January 17 at 8:00 p.m.; Wednesday, January 18 at 8:00 p.m.; Friday, January 20 at 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, January 21 at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.; Sunday, January 22 at 1:30 p.m.

Theater of the Stars

Theater of the Stars is one of the oldest and most respected regional theaters in America. Since the organization’s founding in 1953, they have produced or presented over 700 productions in Atlanta, across the country, and around the world.
