hottest performances to Atlanta’s majestic Fox Theatre this season. Featuring
two Tony Award® winning musicals, the 2012-2013 season
lineup is sure to enchant, inspire, and delight audience members. Broadway in
Atlanta is pleased to announce WAR HORSE, Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST,
FLASHDANCE, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, and SISTER ACT will soon make

production of WAR HORSE, winner of five 2011 Tony® Awards including Best Play, is charging
into Atlanta! WAR HORSE is the powerful story of young Albert’s beloved
horse, Joey, who has been enlisted to fight for the English in World War I. In a
tale Time Magazine calls “a landmark theatre event,” Joey is caught in
enemy crossfire and ends up serving both sides of the war before landing in no
man’s land. Albert, not old enough to enlist, embarks on a treacherous mission
to find his horse and bring him home. What follows is a remarkable tale of
courage, loyalty, and friendship, filled with stirring music and songs and told
with some of the most innovative stagecraft of our time.

Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young

FLASHDANCE tells the inspiring and unforgettable
story of Alex Owens, a working class girl from Pittsburgh with a dream of
becoming a professional dancer. She works by day as a steel mill welder, and a
bar dancer at night while aspiring to be accepted at a prestigious ballet
academy. When Alex catches the eye of her boss Nick Hurley, their romance shows
her the meaning of love and drives her ambition to pursue her dream. The
original Paramount Pictures film was a worldwide smash hit that became a pop
culture phenomenon, grossing over $150 million and featuring a Grammy Award
winning soundtrack. FLASHDANCE – THE MUSICAL features a score including
the hit songs from the movie, all of which became Top Ten hits on the radio
around the world. In addition to these hits, 16 brand new original songs have

responsible for launching the careers of each icon, brought the four legendary
musicians together at the Sun Records storefront studio in Memphis for the first
and only time. The resulting evening became known as one the greatest rock ‘n’

a surprising turn when she witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in the last
place anyone would think to look – a convent! Under the suspicious watch of
Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she
unexpectedly rediscovers her own. A sparkling tribute to the universal power of
friendship, SISTER ACT is reason to rejoice!

invoices via mail. For ease and convenience, Fifth Third Bank Broadway in
Atlanta will also send renewal information via email and encourages patrons to
subscribe online for the new season. Current season ticket holders who wish to
guarantee their same seats must renew by April 2.

Broadway in Atlanta is also offering a three -part installment payment plan this
year to help ticket buyers with season purchases.
Tickets to
individual shows in the 2012-2013 season are not available for purchase at this
time. Single-show tickets typically go on sale to the general public 8-12 weeks
prior to opening night. However, season ticket holders have the unique
opportunity to purchase additional tickets before they go on sale to the

parties of 10, 15, 20 or more can be made at this time by calling 404-881-2000.
Applicable group size will vary depending on the show.
Performances are
Tuesday through Friday at 8:00 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., and
Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. (All times are subject to change.) An
audio-described performance for the visually impaired and an American Sign
Language-interpreted performance for the deaf are available for each
pre-determined Saturday matinee of each presentation.
