Theater of the Stars will hold adult auditions for THE PRODUCERS on Saturday October 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.  Registration will open at 9:45 a.m.  Call backs will take place later that afternoon.

Audition location: Alliance Theatre, 1280 Peachtree Street, 3^rd Floor – Rehearsal Hall #1, Atlanta, GA 30309.

These auditions are available for both Actors’ Equity and non-Equity actors.

Actors’ Equity Members will be seen by appointment. 

All roles (with the exception of Max and Leo) are open.  This is an Actors’ Equity Association production.  Equity and non-Equity actors are eligible.  All roles are paid roles.  The minimum salary is $920.  We are looking for principal and ensemble roles.

THE PRODUCERS was originally scheduled to perform this past summer.  The show was postponed to January 2013, and the plan is to have a majority Atlanta cast and to rehearse and tech in Atlanta.  With the change in rehearsal and tech location, this show is more convenient for Atlanta actors.  Atlanta actors will not need to travel outside of Atlanta in order to be a part of this production.

We are looking for male and female actors who act, sing, and dance well.  Please bring two copies of your headshot and resume.  Bring your own sheet music and be prepared to sing 16 bars of music from a Broadway musical song that best shows off your voice.  Musical accompaniment will be provided.  No a cappella, pop or rock selections please.  Please wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to dance if asked for a call back.

In order to be cast in THE PRODUCERS, you must be available from January 14-31, 2013.  Rehearsal in Atlanta will tentatively start on January 14, 2013 (the tentative rehearsal schedule is 10:00AM - 6:00PM every day until tech starts), the show will tech in Atlanta, Georgia, and open at the Fox Theatre on Friday January 25, 2013.  The show closes at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on Thursday January 31, 2013.  Local Atlanta actors will NOT need to travel for this production.
