If you've never been to this event, you must go!  It is a whole lot of Halloween fun!  I did it several years ago, and it was definitely worth the drive from my home in Cumming all the way over to Stone Mountain:
Your weekly workout has done wonders for your physique, but if you're suffering from boredom after spending all that time on the treadmill, exercise your imagination with today's deal from ART Station. Join an easy jaunt through Stone Mountain Park as part of "A Tour of Southern Ghosts" when you pay $7 (regularly $15) for an adult ticket or $3 (regularly $7) for a child ticket. By lantern-light alone, you'll wind your way through the authentic Antebellum Plantation as the cast of this professional theater company creates vivid images of the area's haunted history. Held every Thursday through Sunday until the end of October, this family-friendly festival won't be as good a workout as your running routine, but the creepy tales of Civil War-era specters are sure to quicken your pulse.

Rainforest Golf - Stone Mountain, GA - $5 for 36 HOLES!!

To receive these deals daily, sign up for our **FREE** e-mail newsletter or subscribe via RSS. If you'd like a printable copy of this post, please see the link below. Thanks for visiting!

Today, Eversave ATL is offering a great deal on some family fun.  $5 for 36 holes of putt-putt mini-golf at Stone Mountain's Rainforest Cafe (not inside the Park, the city of Stone Mountain):
These days, the word "Amazon" calls to mind visions of used books and virtual shopping carts. Don't you think it ought to belong to tropical toucans and tree frogs? Well, butterfly, spread your wings and get back to nature with today's Save for 36 holes of mini-golf at Rainforest Golf.

We know what you're thinking. And you're right: Most rainforests don't come with air conditioning. Luckily, two-thirds of the well-kept greens at this Amazon-inspired course are shaded, so you and the kids won't get too sticky in the steamy heat. Of course, you could trade one version of sticky for another — with a little Edy's ice cream or cotton candy, available at the indoor snack bar.

As for the breakdown of the 36 holes, you'll be able to test your luck on Rainforest Golf's two unique 18-hole courses, covered with lush vegetation and animals (of the plastic, not predatory variety). We're betting you'll be so focused on your putting game (and charmed by the waterfalls, bridges and greenery) that you and your putt-putt pals will be able to keep your cool.

C'mon, the real Amazon is calling. How does it work? Show me how to Save!
May buy up to four (4) saves; one (1) per person per visit; expires 10/31/11
Visit the Eversave website to purchase today.  Expires in 14 hours.

Groupon ATL - Atlanta Dekalb-Peachtree Airport - 57th Fighter Group Restaurant - Biplane Flight Over DT ATL or Stn. Mtn. Park PLUS **FREE** Appetizer or Dessert!

To receive these deals daily, sign up for our **FREE** e-mail newsletter or subscribe via RSS. If you'd like a printable copy of this post, please see the link below. Thanks for visiting!

Today's Groupon ATL deal is $85 for a biplane flight over downtown ATL or Stone Mountain park plus **FREE** appetizer or dessert!
Though commercial airline developers have toiled to provide such luxuries as hot towels and tiny blankets, consumers long for the simple excitement of wind in their hair. Today's Groupon invigorates inner Icaruses: for $85, you get a biplane ride over downtown Atlanta or over Stone Mountain Park from Biplane Atlanta, plus a free appetizer or dessert at the 57th Fighter Group Restaurant (up to a $178 value).
Biplane Atlanta gives passengers a butterfly's eye view of Atlanta, similar to how James Oglethorpe saw the state when he first helicoptered over it in 1732. With an ace airman at the helm of a fully restored classic biplane, guests will enjoy one of two flights of fancy, each approximately 20 minutes in length ($165 per person). On The Old-Timer flight, you'll soar over downtown Atlanta like a Jeff Blauser home run, getting breathtaking views of Centennial Park, the Georgia Dome, the Georgia Aquarium, and Ted Turner Field. On The Walter Mitty flight, you'll coast past the iconic muraled monadnock, marveling at the granite likenesses of Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis, and Stonewall Jackson while wondering how they'd fare against the Mount Rushmore carvings in a basketball game.
After your biplane lands to the cheers of thousands of handkerchief-waving onlookers, take a ticker-tape parade to the 57th Fighter Group Restaurant and enjoy a free appetizer, such as the lobster risotto squares, or dessert, such as the lemon coconut cake. The restaurant is flight-decked out to memorialize World War II aviators and other military airmen, and offers exhilarating views of planes taking off from, landing at, and lounging around DeKalb-Peachtree Airport. Call ahead to reserve your flight time.

Wow!  How fun!  I'd love to get some friends together and do this!  If you're interested in today's deal, you can visit the Groupon ATL website.  Enjoy!
