Publix Match-Ups Now Up

Jenny, over at Southern Savings, has put up the new Publix match-ups for this week. Looks like a good week at Publix!

For some of us, it's a day early (our sales rotate on Thursdays), but you can get your list and coupons together a day early!

Also, don't forget--on Sundays and Mondays, Publix always has a PENNY ITEM. I like to save my Publix shopping trips for Monday NIGHTS because (a) it's a lot less crowded during that time frame and (b) if you're not crazy about the penny item, there is always a chance they have sold out and are substituting a name brand item instead.

I've got a pretty good stockpile of Chinet plates from this strategy! But..it is a chance you take! Another tip is that each store will substitute something different. So, while one Publix may substitute a can of black beans for the penny item (yes, that has happened), another one may substitute a GIANT bag of M&Ms! So, it pays to check or call around! :)
