Maybe after this, I'll still be awake enough to find some freebies for you girls. My Inbox has been full of them today and tonight. I just haven't had the time to go through them for you all yet.
Hopefully, I can muster up a second wind and get some reading done. I know how all of you love free things!
Now, on to last week's drug store runs. First up, Rite-Aid. Rite-Aid has been pretty decent lately. I used to do a lot of shopping at WAGS, but CVS and Rite-Aid (and even Target) have been kicking their butt lately.
A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!

4 Clear Eyes @ $.99 - 4, $1 MQs = **FREE**
1 NYC Polish @ $1.99 - $1 MQ - $1 RAQ = **FREE**
1NYC Polish @ .49 = $.50
GRAND TOTAL = $.44 or $.89 with tax
(Isn't it amazing to see how much tax we are charged? My tax this trip just about equaled my total!)
Next up, WAGS:

4, Bic Grip Pens @ $.50 = $2 - $2 MQ = **FREE**
2, Ecotrin Aspirin @ $1.99 - $4 MQs = **FREE**
GRAND TOTAL: NEGATIVE $.02 (yes, I said NEGATIVE $.02)
But, alas, there is always tax in our land of the free, so after tax, my total increased to $.40!
Next, and last, stop--Kroger...big trip, but a not-so-big grand total....

Bird Food - On sale for $2.99
J&J Floss - On sale $1 = $4 - $4 MQs = **FREE**
Yogos - On Sale $1.50 - $1 MQ = $.50
Kellogg's Fruit Snacks - On sale $1.50 - $1 MQ = $.50
Eggo Frozen Breakfast Items - On sale for $1.50 - $1 MQ = $.50 each
Kroger Saltines on sale for $.99
Post Raisin Bran - **FREE** in-home mailer coupon
Keebler Cookies on sale for $1.50 - $.50 MQ = $1 each
Mini-Wheats on sale for $2.19 - $1.50 MQ = $.79
Kellogg's Raisin Bran on sale for $2.39 - $1 MQ = $1.39
Kellogg's Special K on sale for $2.60 - $1 = $1.60
Kellogg's Bran Flakes on sale for $3 - $2 MQ = $1
(I can't remember if all these MQs are exact, but they are close.)
There was a Kellogg's Kroger sale going on, which resulted in me being able to get an additional $16 deducted from my total.
Buying all these Kellogg's items also entitles me to the Back to School rebate program going on (another $10 back).
Bringing my grand total down to $14 for all of this stuff! Wow! Amazing! $70 worth of food for only $14.
I'm telling you girls--a little hard work, time, and effort at home can really bring your grocery bills down!

On another note, my friend Sonya and I teach a little couponing class for women wanting to know how to do this. If you are ever curious about how to start couponing, please let one of us know. We would love to show you how to start!
Right now, we are in the planning stages with our Church to set up a second class. (The first one blew us away with attendance!)
If any of you are interested but can't attend the class, please let me know. I am considering starting a small blog series on how to start couponing. I'd love to know if any of you would be interested in a series of that sort.
Thanks!
