Time to Start Up Again

What in the WORLD does that title mean?

Well, I guess it could mean a lot of things--for me, I guess it means only two things--Time to start up preschool again (yes, it's officially time to go back to work), and time to start up the 'ole blog again.

My family is leaving for our annual Disney World trip in (hey, it's after midnight...) 15 days! Which means that I have gone into official "nesting" mode. Any of you that have been pregnant will know exactly what I am talking about (sorry men)!

Nesting usually occurs right before a big event, such as HAVING A BABY, thus the term, "nesting." However, it can also occur before other big events, such as GOING TO DISNEY WORLD.

If you know anything about me, you know that I am (a) obsessive-compulsive (a.k.a. OCD) and (b) a Disney ADDICT. (Yes, I know. I need a 12-step program.) That means, that when August and September start rolling around, I start nesting!

It hit me like a ton of bricks last week. Piles everywhere. Every stinkin' room has PILES! Piles of what, you ask? Junk! Tony's room has piles of baseball cards all over the floor (yes, they are sorted and in stacks), but still--they are on the floor!!! Josh's room has--well, Josh's room just has piles of Junk--it could be Legos one day or K'nex another...you just never know with that kid. My room--the loft--well, it has piles everywhere too; piles that encompass all the "things" going on in life--stuff to be Ebayed, stuff to be filed, stuff to be scrapbooked, stuff to be...well, you get the idea...

Anyway...I think I've been diverted...back to nesting...last week, all those piles just started staring at me...how did we get a project and a pile in every room. I decided, right then and there, that as I cleaned house last Friday, I was going to rid myself of every project as I cleaned.

I didn't care if it took me four days to clean house. At least, those darn projects and piles would be gone! Well, this SOUNDED like a good idea, and actually to some degree it is working--my dining room is BEAUTIFUL! Glad I got the pile and the project done in there, but for other areas like my foyer that need some painting done...well, let's just not go there. (Maybe you saw my little now-deleted meltdown and 5-year old temper tantrum on facebook last week....sorry if you did. Please accept my apologies now...)

Anyway, Disney is drawing nearer, and I am in nesting mode--nesting in the home and nesting in my quest to conquer all things Disney. All this rambling to say that I have officially neglected this blog and all things free- and grocery-related.

So, now--as projects are starting to disappear and Disney is drawing nearer, it's time to start the 'ole blog up again. I've seen a lot of freebies go by these last few days, and girls, I am so sorry we all missed them. (Hopefully, you caught some of them on your own.)

I will try to do better in the upcoming weeks and months. The posts may slow down due to the preschool year starting back up again next week and our trip to Disney World, but hopefully, I will eventually carve out a routine and schedule for me...and HOPEFULLY, that will translate into benefits for all of you....

Now, enough of this rambling...on to the freebies!!!
