My $.26 Publix Run

Everyone, by now, knows how I grocery shop. I tend to buy only the things that are either free or around a $1 or so.

I hit all the stores, get the deals, and then get out. I try to do the rest of my shopping at Wally World to fill in with what I need for the rest of my planned meals.

So, it was with Publix this week. Not a big week for me there. Didn't see too much I was interested in. Even the penny item was a dud for me this week--WHITE bread. White? We try not to do white if at all possible, trying to keep everyone on wheat over here.

So, don't get all excited when I post and say that my Publix trip this week ended up being a paltrey $.26. Yep, you read that right--$.26 meager cents.

But, look at my picture. I didn't get much...just a few things to help with meals and to keep every one going.

Still $.26 is an exciting total to walk out of a grocery store with...who knows, maybe it will encourage someone else this week....

2, Kashi Go Lean Crunch Cereal - $3.79 - $3 MQ (Vocalpoint) = $.79

2, Cacadian Farms Chewy Granola Bars - $1.99 - $1 MQ = $.99

1, Publix Item (WHICH I JUST NOTICED SHE DID NOT TAKE OFF) = $1.25

So, do you girls know what that means? My total was $.26, but now, I have to GO BACK and get $1.24 REFUNDED.

I guess my NEW TOTAL will be NEGATIVE $.98!

Thanks Club Pub for PAYING ME to take my groceries home tonight! I love it!
