Good morning everyone!
To appease myself from not being at Disney World this weekend with my fellow Disney Dream Depot girls, I took a little virtual trip over to The Disney Store's official on-line website.
A fellow, local Disney fan friend of mine (got all that?) told me she'd been shopping at our local Disney Store yesterday and found some Christmas stuff already on clearance.
Since I have had my eye on three ornaments this year (the Disney Store [to me] always has the best ornaments) since BEFORE Thanksgiving and have been waiting for them to go on sale, I thought I might have a good chance to snag them on-line this morning.
When I got to the website, I found this OTHER incredible Disney ornament deal. So many of us travel the Parks each year and bring home a Christmas ornament as our souvenir. What I have learned over the years is to WAIT and buy my ornament on the NEXT YEAR'S trip.
Here's the scoop: Disney has a little alley at Downtown Disney where they sell items for $10 and under. You have to look for it, or you might walk right by it! It's a great little alcove where they stock clearance and regular-priced items and sell them for $10 and under.
A good majority of the time, they will have the previous year's ornament for about $3.99 or so. ...and when they are normally $12, this is a great deal, BUT this morning, I have discovered that the 2009 (yes, that's THIS YEAR's) ornament is on CLEARANCE for only $1.99 at Disney's website.
...and if that's not enough...Disney has three coupons on the front/home page to combine with this great sale (check the small print, as sometimes not all items are included with the coupons).
I am so excited that I might be able to snag THIS YEAR's souvenir ornament for only $1.99! Yeah Disney! Thank you!
Have a Disney Day,
ha! i'm the little local disney fan friend of yours - thats a tongue twister, and glad to help! :) and thank you for telling me about discover mills! didnt realize that!
