Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta is proud to announce that Riverdance - The 20th Anniversary World Tour, back by popular demand, will play a limited engagement at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre from May 5-7 as part of the 2016/2017 season.

Celebrating an extraordinary milestone for an incredible show, The Edinburgh Evening News raves about Riverdance - The 20th Anniversary World Tour, “As for the flaws?  Well, there simply aren’t any.  Here’s to another 20 years!”
Tickets for the international Irish dance phenomenon are on sale and start at $33.50.  They are available by visiting FoxTheatre.org/Riverdance, calling 1-855-285-8499, or visiting the Fox Theatre Box Office (660 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30308).
Riverdance - The 20th Anniversary World Tour will play its last Atlanta shows today at 1 p.m. and  6:30 p.m.
Riverdance - The 20th Anniversary World Tour is an innovative and exciting blend of dance, music, and song.  Drawing on Irish traditions, the combined talents of the performers propel Irish dancing and music into the present day, capturing the imagination of audiences across all ages and cultures.  Riverdance - The 20th Anniversary World Tour has set design by Robert Ballagh, lighting design by John Comiskey, costume design by Joan Bergin, and sound design by Michael O’Gorman.

We were lucky enough to see opening night Friday, and as stated above in the official press release, it was perfect and without error.  The show is extremely fast-paced and a lot of fun.

The musicians are extremely talented, and it's hard to believe that only four musicians carry the entire musical score.  (If you really want to see something amazing, open up your playbill and read their resumes.  Quite impressive!)

For me, my favorite part was right after intermission when troupe members showcased American tap and how it differs from Riverdance. The two dancers that came out were phenomenal. I don't want to give it away, but please don't miss it!  Fun routine with humor and good 'ole fashioned rivalry.

For our performance, there were several children in the audience, and if you are thinking about taking kids to this show, I will tell you this one is rated, "G."  Nothing to worry about.  No profanity, no nudity.  Good, clean fun for the entire family.
