Hello friends! I couldn't wait to pop in and give you some great news from the world of Christian music.
In case you haven't heard yet, Chris Tomlin is hitting the road again next year. This time, he will be touring with one of the best-known Christian praise "groups" of our time - Hillsong UNITED. If you don't know United by name, you probably know their songs.
Does Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) or What a Beautiful Name ring a bell? Well, if they do, you are certainly familiar with UNITED's music. And Chris Tomlin's music needs no introduction. Chris has been in the music industry for decades - best known for songs such as Our God and How Great is Our God.
Here's one of my favorite videos of UNITED singing Oceans live from Israel. The video is from 2018. They may look a little different, but those vocal chords are still just as powerful today as they were three years ago.

Over the years, Christian music has grown to rival other genres of music. To me, being able to turn the radio station (over-the-air or satellite) to Christian music has been such a saving grace! Being able to listen to songs with lyrics I agree with and at the same time enjoy and can fun with is such a blessing. It's a safe place to go when I need to hear music - whether I'm driving or cleaning house - and both Chris and UNITED have provided an amazing backdrop to my days.
In fact, to sum up how much the song Oceans means to me, we have a huge piece of wall art in our home of the lyrics. I love looking at it and remembering God's Word and Jesus' actions. It encourages me daily.

Opening act will be Pat Barrett, another incredible singer/songwriter. You can't go wrong with this tour. It's sure to be the perfect evening out.
