In
keeping with the tradition of sharing smiles and stories, the Dairy
Queen® system is partnering with Build-A-Bear
Workshop® to celebrate the interactive entertainment retailer's 15th
birthday.
If you visit one of
the more than 250 Build-A-Bear Workshop locations nationwide today, you can receive a
celebratory birthday hat tagged with a coupon for $3 off a signature
DQ® Cake.
"This is the second year we've partnered with Build-A-Bear Workshop, and for us, it is a natural fit," said Tim Hawley, vice president of Marketing Communications for American Dairy Queen Corporation. "Just like the Dairy Queen system, Build-A-Bear Workshop is a place where families and friends can come together and make lasting memories. No birthday celebration, or any party for that matter, is complete without one of our delicious cakes."
Guests are invited to
visit any Build-A-Bear Workshop store nationwide to join in the 15th
birthday celebration.
In addition to receiving the paper party hat with
DQ coupon,
participants in the birthday weekend will be able to meet Build-A-Bear Workshop
mascot, Bearemy® and
enjoy a variety of 15th
birthday celebration activities. The first 100 guests at each store will be able
to make a bear for **FREE** to be donated to the Marine Toys for Tots®
Foundation to distribute to kids in need in communities across the
country.
Dairy
Queen
Cakes are made with a layer of
luscious chocolate soft serve topped with fudge and crunch then layered with
vanilla soft serve and decorated with whipped icing. All cakes can be custom
decorated and the DQ system's one-of-a-kind Blizzard®

No
purchase is required to receive the coupon, and the DQ system will honor
