Hi girls!
I guess this is my first official grocery posting on my new blog! Wow, how exciting!
Thank you all for the nice comments, notes, and e-mails on my blog. It's been a lot of fun learning code and other new things. My mind is like a sponge right now, and I'm really enjoying working on the blog! (Thank you Lynn!) I hope I can keep it up over time and maybe even eventually work my way up to the semi-close position of those "professional" bloggers out there (you girls know who you are)!
Some of you have been asking me to do another grocery class. We are working on it! It will be at First Baptist Cumming again sometime over the summer. Once I have a date, I will post it here for you.
Sonya & I would love for you to come and join us. My main mission is to teach others how to save money on their grocery bill. We can teach you how to cut your bill by over half! Really! No kidding! In these times, it is especially resourceful to know how to save money at the grocery and drug stores.
It is possible. Somebody once taught me, and now, we are paying it forward!
Tonight, I made a last-minute dash to Publix before the sale ended. Here is what I got this go 'round:
GE Reveal Light Bulbs - On sale BOGO @ $1.45 each - $.75 MQ = $.70/box
Whole Fruit Sorbet - On sale BOGO @ $1.45 - .75 MQ = $.70 each
Nestle Cookie Dough - On sale BOGO @ $1.45 - $1 MQ = $.45 each
Bertolli Pasta Sauce - On sale BOGO @ $1.35 - $1 MQ = $.35 each
TOTAL OOP = $8.88
Not too bad for $50 worth of groceries!
