Well, I got two runs done right off the bat this week-Publix and Staples. I can't believe it; lately, nothing gets done around here until Saturday. ...just too much to squeeze into the days I suppose...
It felt really good dropping the kids off at school Monday morning and then heading to the stores. (I guess that's what those preschool Moms feel like, once they drop their kids off to us! Wink! Wink!)
I could get used to this lifestyle...too bad it's all ending next week, when the rest of us (i.e., private & preschool teachers) head back to school. It's a bittersweet thing--getting to see all of your friends again and meeting lots of new precious faces, but at the same time, giving up your freedom and private time for a life of schedules and appointments....
Would I trade it? Nope, probably not, but the thought of endless freetime does sound good every now and then...
