Target Match-Ups

A lot of you often ask me where I find the Target match-ups, and I promised you that when I found one, I would post it here for you.

If you've been following my blog, you know that Target has been having some really great freebies lately.

The good thing about Target match-ups is that they have their own "brand" of coupons. You can find them on Hot Coupon World, and there is absolutely NO LIMIT on how many you can print!

Now, don't be greedy, but do feel free to print out more than our normal two. For instance, they had a Skittles coupon out for $1. They SELL Skittles for $.55. Why do they do this? I don't know, maybe they consider this a "loss leader," and they hope that once you are in their store, you will buy much more than the Skittles!

But, remember--when they throw out coupons like this, where you are making a hefty profit, you can apply that profit toward other items, like meats or produce, that often don't have coupons.

Use your heads girls, and you can really rack up some free items that aren't normally cheap or free, and you can bring those check-out totals down.

I used to feel guilty about walking into Target with a handful of printables (mostly because the majority of the time, they won't scan and the cashiers have to input them all manually), but on my last trip, a young cashier man came up to watch as my cashier rang up my purchases.

He said, "How much do you think it will come down to?" When I told him, he replied, "There was a lady in here yesterday, and she had a $100 total. When I was done putting in all her coupons, her total was $8!"

So, I guess there are people coming in with a lot more coupons than you and I! ...and I guess SOME of the cashiers really like to see what the totals come down to!

Anyway...suffice to say...I have babbled on long enough. Here is the link to a neat blog called Stretching a Buck. Some of you may even already follow it.

Go through the list and see if you can find some Target deals for your family this week! Happy Shopping!
