Well, well, well...I don't believe it...a LOCAL Groupon deal for MY city!  Wow, I wonder how many I should buy....

Today's Groupon deal for Atlanta is a 50% savings at STARS AND STRIKES FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS (3 locations)!  For $8, you will get $16 worth of entertainment, PLUS they are also throwing in a 20% discount on holiday parties!  Yahoo!

It looks like to me that you can spend this on whatever you want inside Stars and Strikes, but it would probably be wise to check ahead of time.

Here are some additional details from the Groupon site:
Before the Industrial Revolution, entertainment centers consisted of rustic diversions such as cup-and-ball, anagrams, and stirring rounds of the silent game. Appreciate the electrified fun of modernity with today's Groupon: for $8, you get $16 worth of bowling and more at your choice of Stars and Strikes. As an added bonus, this Groupon is also good for 20% off a holiday party in 2010. This Groupon is valid at Stars and Strikes' locations in Cumming, Dallas, and Dacula.
Locally owned and operated, the no-smoking environment of Stars and Strikes provides 55,000 square feet of group entertainment, such as bowling, bumper cars, lazer tag, and more than 120 arcade games. Try your hand at bowling in the state-of-the-art Twilight lanes, featuring lane-side food delivery, bumpers, cosmic bowling with DJ's on Friday and Saturday nights, and TVs. The Twilight lanes are yours for $3.39–$4.79 per game, or $24.95–$29.95 per hour, plus $2.50–$3.99 for shoe rental. Hoity-toity pin monkeys can spring for Boutique Bowling, earning access to more than a dozen gleaming lanes with upscale seating and amenities. Should bowling fail to appease the lava people, lay down a five-spot and pay tribute to the volcanic transgressors in bumper cars, or strap on a glow-in-the-dark fiber-optic vest, let your hand embrace the powerful contours of a phaser, and burst into the black-lit lazer tag course with a melodic battle cry. Arcade games ($5 for 20 credits) may include Guitar Hero, Skee-Ball, a NASCAR game, and Nothing But Net.
With your energies fully spent, take refuge in Coach's Corner, where flat-screen TVs display the titans of the jumbotron, and non-traditional bowling alley fare such as lemon garlic tilapia with sauteed shrimp ($12.99) invites you into its warm, lemon juice-and-butter-slathered arms. The Vince Lombardi Lipsmacker burger layered with American, swiss, and cheddar cheese ($7.99), chicken parmesan ($9.99), surf and turf ($14.99), and other delectable options can sate more substantial appetites, while a list of salads provides lighter fare.
