To be 100% honest, I'm not sure how excellent a deal this is.  If you are a savvy and competitive (i.e., price-matching) shopper, you can get almost all of your school supplies for pennies, if not **FREE,** during the summer and early school months.  However...the flip side of this coin is that if you need more supplies later or more expensive ones (i.e., scientific calculators), this little card could come in handy (if there aren't any exceptions or limitations stipulated on it).
