THE PRODUCERS, the winningest musical in Broadway history, returns to Atlanta after an eight-year absence, and opens at the Fox Theatre this Friday - January 31st. The principal cast members will be Michael McCormick (Max), Atlanta native Stacey Todd Holt (Leo Bloom), Tom Alan Robbins (Franz), Patrick Boyd (Carmen Ghia), and Laura Seibert (Ulla).

THE PRODUCERS won a record 12 Tony Awards and sets the standard for modern, outrageous, in-your-face humor.  Tickets range from $25 - $65 and are on sale now at www.FoxATLTix.com or by calling 855-ATL-TIXX (855-285-8499). Special group rates for 10 or more are available by calling 404-881-2000, emailing foxgroup@foxtheatre.org or online at www.foxtheatre.org/groupsales.aspx.  Half-price tickets are available for the Tuesday and Wednesday performances by using the code "AJC."  THE PRODUCERS will be produced by Theater of the Stars and is part of the 60th Season.

Bialystock and Bloom!  Those names should strike terror and hysteria in anyone familiar with Mel Brooks’ classic cult comedy film.  The plot is simple:  A down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious flop in history thereby bilking their backers (all "little old ladies") out of millions of dollars.  Only one thing goes awry: the show is a smash hit!  At the core of the insanely funny adventure is a poignant emotional journey of two very different men who become friends.  With a truly hysterical book co-written by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan (ANNIE) and music and lyrics by Mr. Brooks, THE PRODUCERS skewers Broadway traditions and takes no prisoners as it proudly proclaims itself an "equal opportunity offender!"

THE PRODUCERS
will play the Fabulous Fox Theatre from January 25 - 31, 2013.   Eight performances are as follows:   Friday, January 25 at 8:00PM; Saturday, January 26 at 2:00PM and 8:00PM; Sunday, January 27 at 1:30PM and 7:00PM; Tuesday, January 29 at 8:00PM; Wednesday, January 30 at 8:00PM and Thursday, January 31 at 8:00PM.
