Courtesy of Totally Target, here are some theater chains' summer movie festival schedules. If you have another theater chain you'd like to add to the list, please let me know!
"Many large theaters participate in **FREE** or very inexpensive Summer Film Festivals.
Each summer, Austin & I have been taking advantage of the FREE movies at Muvico Theaters, and I look forward to doing it again this summer. Our program starts June 12th and we can see a FREE movie every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10 am.
My advice is to get to the theater early, as sometimes there are whole groups of children from day camps arriving and they can fill up the theaters fast. This summer Muvico will be showing Despicable Me, Madagascar 3, Rise of the Guardians, The Smurfs, Hotel Transylvania, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, Clifford’s Really Big Movie, Happy Feet Two, How to Train Your Dragon, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
Here’s a few more programs I know about, and be sure to call your local theater if you don’t see yours listed here to ask if they offer any summer specials or FREE Movies. Or if you know offhand of any programs you want to share with other readers, please feel free to share it in the comments with any info or link you can provide and I will add it to the post….
