Town Center Welcomes Burger Barn and Queso Fresh Mex Grill!

Town Center at Cobb visitors will soon be able to indulge in additional dining options during the busy holiday season! Simon, a global leader in the ownership of premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mix-used destinations, announced today the upcoming openings of Burger Barn and Queso Fresh Mex Grill.  Additionally, Merry DooDads, Go! Calendars, See’s Candies, Hickory Farms, and more retailers will offer an abundance of holiday gift options at the center this season. Town Center at Cobb to Host Kidgits Safety Day!

Town Center at Cobb is teaming up with several community partners for Kidgits Safety Day on Saturday, May 21 from 1-3 p.m.

Taking place in the lower level of the Belk Wing, the afternoon’s activities will focus the importance of protecting and improving the well being of younger family members.  Cobb County Police will be onsite to conduct fingerprinting and presentations on a number of safety topics will be led by the Cobb Safety Village, American Red Cross, Cobb County Fire Department, and Town Center at Cobb’s mall security.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a new stuffed animal to donate to the Cobb County Police Department for children involved in distressing situations.

“One of the great traditions of holiday shopping at Mall of Georgia is the annual family visit to the Simon Santa Photo Experience,” said Teresa Holloway, director of marketing at Mall of Georgia. “I know Santa can’t wait to greet children bringing him their holiday wishes.”

Lenox Square, Mall of Georgia, Town Center at ,Cobb and Sugarloaf Mills also provide children with special needs and their families with an opportunity to enjoy a carefully managed Santa photo experience through the Caring Santa program. Guests must register in advance at simon.com/caringsanta.  Caring Santa events have expanded from seven Simon malls in 2011 to over 100 Simon malls today, reflecting the positive impact of this unique program.  The Caring Santa photo schedule will occur prior to each mall’s opening. 

Caring Santa photo schedules and locations are as follows:

·         Lenox Square: November 22 and December 6 from 8 – 10 a.m. in the Macy’s Court

·         Mall of Georgia: November 22 from 9 – 11 a.m. in the Mountain Court 

·         Town Center at Cobb: November 22 from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. and December 6 from 9:30 – 11 a.m. in the Center Court   

·         Sugarloaf Mills: December 6 from 9:30 – 11 a.m. in the AMC Movie Court

The popular Pet Photo Night returns to the Simon Santa Photo Experience at Mall of Georgia, North Georgia Premium Outlets, Town Center at Cobb, and Sugarloaf Mills this year.  Many pet owners view their pet as an integral member of the family and are just as committed in caring for their pets as their “human” family members.

Pet Photo nights are hosted after regular mall closing and the set gets an extensive cleaning following the event to remove any potential risk to allergy sufferers.  Reservations can be secured at each center’s website or by visiting simon.com/petphoto.

·         Mall of Georgia: December 13 from 8 – 10 p.m. in the Mountain Court

·         North Georgia Premium Outlets: December 12 from 8:30 – 10 a.m. outside the Food Pavilion and near Kay Jewelers Outlet

·         Town Center at Cobb: November 29 from 6 – 8 p.m. and December 13 from 8 – 10 p.m. in the Center Court

·         Sugarloaf Mills: November 22 and December 13 from 6 – 7 p.m. in the AMC Movie Court

Since this program began four years ago, Noerr has collected over $978,000 largely due to the generosity of Simon shoppers. This season, Noerr will pass the $1,000,000 milestone.
