Town Center Welcomes Burger Barn and Queso Fresh Mex Grill!

Town Center at Cobb visitors will soon be able to indulge in additional dining options during the busy holiday season!
Simon, a global leader in the ownership of premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mix-used destinations, announced today the upcoming openings of Burger Barn and Queso Fresh Mex Grill.  Additionally, Merry DooDadsGo! CalendarsSee’s Candies, Hickory Farms, and more retailers will offer an abundance of holiday gift options at the center this season.
Hungry guests can enjoy burgers, hot dogs, and fries at Burger Barn opening this month next to Sbarro in the Food Court.  Queso Fresh Mex Grill will satisfy taste buds with a selection of its specialty burritos, wraps, tacos, fajitas, and more in December.  The restaurant will be located in the Food Court next to Asian Chao.
CupPoki, a restaurant serving fresh seafood and meat bowls served over rice and lettuce with added toppings, is now open in the Upper Level Center Court next to PANDORA.  Locally owned frozen yogurt shop Frozen Yazz will open in the Lower Level Sears Wing across from College Station in mid-November.
Just in time for the busy shopping season, Hollister has re-opened after its renovation in the Upper Level Sears Wing next to Foot Locker.
Prestige Menswear, a destination for men’s casual wear and dress wear, has relocated to a new 3,000-square foot space in the Lower Level Belk Wing across from Express.
Holiday pop-up shops
A go-to destination for all things holiday, Merry DooDads recently opened in a 3,100-square foot space in the Lower Level Macy’s Wing next to brooklynn’s.  Shoppers will find an abundance of holiday décor, gifts, and more festive offerings.
See’s Candies, an American-made candy shop specializing in high quality chocolates made from fresh ingredients, will open by mid-November.  Holiday shoppers can find the See’s Candies kiosk in the Lower Level Macy’s Wing outside of Fashion to Figure.
Visitors can purchase a gift for anyone on their list at Go! Calendars, a seasonal shop selling a variety of calendars and more located in the Sears Court.  Go! Calendars will open before Thanksgiving.  Polar X, opening mid-November in the Sears Wing, will offer a variety of original holiday décor, including personalized ornaments.  Guests will find hand-crafted gifts including sausage, cheese, and other specialty foods at Hickory Farms, which will open mid-November in the Lower Level JCPenney Wing.
Specializing in handcrafted ornaments, mahogany wood airplanes, fighter jets, and more, shoppers can discover thoughtful gifts at Wood Art USA.  The store is located in the Lower Level Macy’s Wing and will be open by Thanksgiving.
Stock up on fun holiday gifts at Beanies Plus – now open in the Upper Level Center Court – along with Squishy Collection and Cool Gadgets, both located in the Lower Level Sears Wing.  Go on a simulated experience with the 9D Virtual Reality Room kiosklocated in the Upper Level Sears Wing.
Spend less time on gift wrapping and more time with family!  From December 8-24, drop off newly purchased gifts at the Oakwood Gift Wrap kiosk, located on the Lower Level Macy’s Wing, and have them readily packaged when it is time to leave.

Simon Centers Continue More Than Pink Drive

Lenox Square, Mall of Georgia, North Georgia Premium Outlets, and Town Center at Cobb announced today this Spring 2017 More Than Pink movement in support of Susan G. Komen and the fight against breast cancer.
As part of a pledge to donate $1 million each year in 2017 and 2018, more than 180 participating Simon Malls, The Mills, and Premium Outlets nationwide will be participating in a range of activities during the months of April and May. 
“It has been wonderful to see the positive response that the More Than Pink movement has generated over the past year,” said Shelley Korenbrot, Director of Marketing and Business Development at North Georgia Premium Outlets.  “Our shoppers, retailers, and employees have embraced the opportunities we’ve offered to support Susan G. Komen in its tireless efforts to reduce breast cancer deaths, and we look forward to continuing that momentum this year.”
Visitors to the Atlanta-area Simon centers will notice pink themes throughout the properties and staff will be decked out in pink accessories.  Shoppers are invited to enjoy the following More Thank Pink activities and deals at Lenox Square, Mall of Georgia, North Georgia Premium Outlets, and Town Center at Cobb:
  • Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza
    • Discount Card Program:  In exchange for a $10 donation to Susan G. Komen, shoppers will receive a Discount Card providing 15% to 25% off one item at participating Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza retailers.  All Discount Card donations will go to Susan G. Komen and be available for purchase through May 31.  Cards are available at Guest Services located near Coach at Lenox Square and at Guest Services located near Lilly Pulitzer at Phipps Plaza.
    • Gift with Purchase:  Now through May 31, shoppers will receive a gift with purchase when making a donation of at least $10 at Guest Services located near Coach at Lenox Square and at Guest Services located near Lilly Pulitzer at Phipps Plaza.
    • Race For The Cure:  Shoppers are encouraged to run with a purpose at Lenox Square’s ‘Race For The Cure’ event on Saturday, June 24.  Attendees will have the option to run/walk a one mile or a 5K route and can visit bit.ly/LenoxSGKRace17 for more information and to register.

    • Free Entertainment:  Shoppers can enjoy live music from DJ Crazy Mike on April 15, April 29, May 13, and May 27 from 1-4 p.m. while enjoying enormous savings at participating More Than Pink stores.
  • Town Center at Cobb
    • Discount Card Program:  In exchange for a $10 donation to Susan G. Komen, shoppers will receive a Discount Card providing 15% to 25% off one item at over 30 participating retailers.  All Discount Card donations will go to Susan G. Komen and be available for purchase through May 31.  Cards are available at the Mall Office located behind Chick-fil-A on Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Sunday from noon – 6 p.m.  Discount Cards can also be purchased at Brooklynn’s and Fashion-to-Figure in the mall.
As of April 2017, Simon has raised $441,667 in support of Susan G. Komen, all generated through the support and participation of shoppers, retailers, and employees.

ThinkGeek Opens Store at Town Center!

Kennesaw shopping center also welcomes City Gear, Primetime Barbershop, Mr. DooDads, and Custom Alterations
With spring in the air and the new season on the horizon, Kennesaw’s premier shopping destination Town Center at Cobb welcomes several new store openings.
Simon, a global leader in retail real estate, today announces that ThinkGeek and Elle Et Lui Shoes will join the center this spring.  These brands join dozens more, including recently opened stores City Gear, Waikiki, Mr. DooDads, and Custom Alterations, as well as a new Proactiv vending machine.
COMING SOON
Popular e-tailer ThinkGeek is coming to Kennesaw with a Cobb County exclusive brick-and-mortar storefront.  Slated to open in early April, the shop will be located on the mall’s Upper Level Sears Wing, next to Bath & Body Works.  ThinkGeek will offer customers a wide selection of pop culture and collectible items including movies, games, books, toys, trading cards, music, and more.
Opening this spring next to Journey’s, Elle Et Lui Shoes will sell women's and children's shoes.  Shoppers in need of a haircut will be able to visit Primetime Barbershop, opening soon on the Lower Level Sears Wing next to College Station next to the mall entrance.

Popular clothing store City Gear is now open on the Upper Level Belk Wing next to Rue 21.  Shoppers can find the athletic fashion brands they love, like Adidas, Jordan, K-Swiss, and more.
For shoppers in need of specialty gifts, cards and home decor, Mr. DooDads is the ideal destination.  This new store also offers a selection of gourmet foods and even giftwrap, making it a one-stop-shop for all gifting needs.  Mr. DooDads is located on the Upper Level Macy’s wing next to Gymboree.
Waikiki offers shoppers a variety of women’s and children’s clothing, accessories, and gifts.  Located on the Lower Level Belk wing next to Express, Waikiki brings a tropical sensation to Town Center at Cobb just in time for spring’s warm weather.
Custom Alterations is easily accessible for Atlanta-area residents who need trustworthy alterations with an easy pickup and drop-off entry.  Located right inside the mall entrance, Custom Alterations can be found next to LensCrafters on the Upper Level JCPenney wing.
Due to customer demand, Town Center at Cobb has also added a Proactiv vending machine on the Lower Level Belk Wing, near Piercing Pagoda.  Shoppers now have a convenient way to purchase all of their favorite Proactiv products without waiting for delivery.

Caring Santa is a private event designed for children and young adults with special needs and their families to have an opportunity to have their photos taken with Santa.  Lenox Square has made necessary adjustments to the environment to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of children of all abilities for this special event.  The event will be held during private mall hours in the Macy’s Court in order to provide a calmer, sensory-friendly environment.  Due to this, families are asked to enter the mall using the Main Mall Entrance in between Sprinkles and Nike. ·         Macy's Great Tree Lighting: November 20 at 7 p.m.
The 69th annual landmark event takes place in the heart of Lenox Square with live musical performances, entertainment, and fun!  Thousands of locals will gather for this special and unforgettable Thanksgiving tradition.

·         Santa Arrival Celebration: November 4 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Leap into the holiday spirit with Town Center at Cobb’s annual Santa Arrival Celebration! Shoppers can gather outside the Food Court Main Entrance (between Belk and JCPenney) at 6 p.m. to welcome St. Nick with a festive parade of reindeer, stilt walkers, and a magical snowfall.  Guests can also look forward to face painting, games, giveaways, and more!  Photo opportunities will be available until 9 p.m. in Center Court for all wishing to visit with Santa, and the first 200 people to visit with Kris Kringle will receive a special gift.  In addition, shoppers can have their photos taken with his trusty reindeer outside of the mall.  For more information, please visit simon.com/towncenteratcobb.

o    Pet Photos with Santa: November 13 and 27 from 6-8 p.m.; December 11 from 8-10 p.m.
Furry friends are invited to “rub noses” and take photos with Santa on November 13, November 27, and December 11 in Center Court.  Guests are to refrain from bringing reptiles or exotic animals and should enter the mall through the Food Court’s main entrance between Belk and JCPenney.  For advanced registration, visit Eventbrite.

o    Caring Santa: November 20 from 10:30 a.m. –Noon and December 4 from 9-11 a.m.
Caring Santa is a private event designed for children and young adults with special needs and their families to have an opportunity to visit Santa and have their photos taken.  Town Center at Cobb will make necessary adjustments to the environment to support the sensory, physical, and other developmental needs of children of all abilities for this special event.  Both events will be held on the Santa Set.
