Riverdance - Student Discounted Tickets!

Local college students looking to experience an evening of iconic Irish dancing are in for a treat as Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta is offering a special $25 Student Rush Ticket for the debut engagement of RIVERDANCE – The 20th Anniversary World Tour, playing at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre May 5-7 as a 2016/2017 season special.

Students simply need to bring valid college student identification with them to the Fox Theatre Box Office two hours prior to each performance. The Student Rush Ticket price will be valid for all performances with a two-ticket limit per student ID.  Student Rush Tickets are subject to availability and will be sold from best available, which may include limited view locations.

RIVERDANCE - The 20th Anniversary World Tour is an innovative and exciting blend of dance, music, and song.  Drawing on Irish traditions, the combined talents of the performers propel Irish dancing and music into the present day, capturing the imagination of audiences across all ages and cultures.  Each Riverdance touring company consists of up to 55 cast and crew members, with the remarkable Riverdance Irish Dance Troupe featuring world class dancers from Ireland, U.K, America, Australia, and Canada, the cream of Irish musicians in the Riverdance Band and a spectacular array of international stars from Spain, America, and Russia all performing to the magic of Bill Whelan’s Grammy award winning music.  RIVERDANCE - The 20th Anniversary World Tour has set design by Robert Ballagh, lighting design by John Comiskey, costume design by Joan Bergin, and sound design by Michael O’Gorman.

RIVERDANCE - The 20th Anniversary World Tour will play five performances only at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre May 5-7.  The performance schedule is 8 p.m. Friday; 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday; and 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

NICKELODEON’S THE FRESH BEAT BAND HITS ATLANTA ON JANUARY 23!



The Fresh Beat Band, Nickelodeon’s preschool music group and stars of the hit TV series of the same name, are giving fans one more chance to see them live as they hit the road again for 60 performances on their nationwide concert tour.

The live concert comes to The Arena at Gwinnett Center on January, 23, 2014 at 7PM.  The wildly popular The Fresh Beat Band Live in Concert Tour will resume on Nov. 12, 2013 in San Antonio, TX.  The band will travel to theaters in new markets and revisit places including New York City’s Theater at Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater L.A. Live.  In 2012, more than 400,000 fans saw the concert making it one of the year’s most successful music tours.

Pre-sale tickets along with Fresh Beat Band VIP packages with meet and greets will be available at www.freshbeatbandlive.com beginning April 16 and at www.ticketmaster.com beginning April 17.  Citi® card members through Citi’s Private Pass Program at www.CitiPrivatePass.com will also have access to pre-sale tickets beginning April 16. The general public on-sale will take place on April 20.

The Fresh Beat Band’s first-ever primetime concert special will premiere on Sunday, April 21, at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nick Jr.  The 30-minute special gives viewers an all-access pass to The Fresh Beat Band concert with behind-the-scenes footage and more.  Fans can watch an exclusive sneak peek of the concert special at www.nickjr.com.
 
The Fresh Beat Band Live in Concert Tour Presented By Nickelodeon features Kiki (Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer), Marina (Tara Perry) and Twist (Jon Beavers) and Shout (Thomas Hobson), performing The Fresh Beat Band hits from seasons one, two and three of the Nickelodeon live-action music series that teaches preschoolers about music appreciation.  Songs performed include “Here We Go, “A Friend Like You,” “Bananas” and “Just Like A Rockstar,” among others.  The Fresh Beat Band soundtracks – The Fresh Beat Band: Music From The Hit TV Show and The Fresh Beat Band: More Music From The Hit TV Show Vol 2.0—are currently available on iTunes and in stores everywhere.  The album features catchy, preschool-friendly tracks culled from three seasons of the TV series.  

The Fresh Beat Band debuted in 2009 and is now in its third season on Nickelodeon. The Fresh Beat Band centers on four best friends – Kiki, Marina, Twist and Shout– in a band who love to sing and dance.  In each episode, preschoolers sing and dance along as they help The Fresh Beat Band solve everyday challenges. Preschoolers learn the fundamentals of music such as melody, rhythm, tempo and performance styles and the importance of friendship, working together, and respecting each other’s differences.  Ne-Yo, Justin Bieber and Jason Mraz have all hung out with the Fresh Beats and additional celebrity guests will appear throughout season three.
