Today's ScoopMama deal is from Mediterranean Grill:

Limited Quantity Available - Hurry before this deal sells out!

Who said family meals had to be ordered in the drive-thru and come with a toy? Buy Today's Scoop and get a taste of the Middle East with $10 for $20 worth of food and drinks at Mediterranean Grill.

This casual, family-friendly neighborhood restaurant is crowded with diners lining up for delicious gyros and kabobs at all three locations, Decatur, Midtown and Marietta. Order at the counter then settle in at a table while your food is cooked fresh to order.

It is easy to feed the whole family at Mediterranean Grill without breaking the bank. The affordable food is healthy (which makes Mamas and Papas happy), the portions are large, and no one will get really mad when the kids accidentally throw rice on the floor.

The Mediterranean Grill has been voted the best Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant in Atlanta and it is no surprise. On the menu you will see staples like the tender gyro wrap ($5.20), spiced falafel plate ($8), chargrilled chicken kabob plate ($9.00) and a generous Greek salad ($5.60). Our kids devour the creamy whipped hummus with pita wedges ($3.70) and Greek potatoes, hot and crispy out of the oven. We love that the kids menu offers both chicken fingers and grilled chicken so you can choose a healthier option for the little ones.

If you are really hungry, try the Lamb Shank with basmati rice and salad ($11) or the Combination Feast, a generous portion of shish kabob, kufta kabob, and gyros slices, served with rice pilaf, pita, Tahini sauce and salad ($9.50). Don’t forget to save room for dessert. The baklava ($1.65) or rice pudding ($2.50) is the perfect way to end this delectable dining experience.

Many believe that a Mediterranean diet extends life, helps you lose weight, and gives you many health benefits. We just think the food at Mediterranean Grill tastes good so don't miss the chance to save 50% off at one of our favorite neighborhood haunts.

Groupon - ATL - Sinbad's Feast - $19 for $40 Worth of Mediterranean Dinner (or $10 for $20 for Lunch)!

To receive these deals daily, sign up for our **FREE** e-mail newsletter or subscribe via RSS. If you'd like a printable copy of this post, please see the link below. Thanks for visiting!

Today's Groupon ATL deal is $19 for $40 worth of Mediterranean dinner (or $10 for $20 for lunch) from Sinbad's Feast in John's Creek:
Cooking food over an open flame can impart smoky flavor and seal in savory juices, but cooking food over an eternal flame can get a bobsledding team kicked out of the Olympics. Get your fill of flame-cooked fare with today's Groupon: for $19, you get $40 worth of Mediterranean cuisine from the dinner menu at Sinbad's Feast in Johns Creek, or for $10, you get $20 worth of lunch fare.
Sinbad's Feast specializes in fresh, authentic Mediterranean cuisine, served as a bountiful buffet ($8.95 for lunch; $12.95–$14.95 for dinner) or off of an à la carte menu . Appease appetites with a starter of kashke badamjoon, a creamy dip made with eggplant, fried onion, mint, garlic, and whey ($6), or most-o esfenaj, a tangy yogurt spread with sautéed spinach ($4). Dinner entrees come with basmati rice and grilled tomatoes, and most morsels are prepared over an open flame to enhance flavor and set the mood for the kitchen staff's ghost stories. Platefuls include savory meygoo, an oxymoronic ode to jumbo shrimp, marinated with fresh garlic, herbs, and smoked paprika ($20), and barreh, a rack of lamb flavored with fresh mint, garlic, and lemon ($24). Vegetarians can make merry with meat-free meals, such as the veggie entree with grilled and marinated zucchini, eggplant, onion, and bell pepper ($13).
Sinbad's Feast houses a spacious dining room with high ceilings, dark wood furnishings, crimson accents, and plenty of natural lighting to illuminate courses. The restaurant designates a special corner for its hookah lounge, where patrons partake in flavored smokes while relaxing on piles of pillows mounded atop plush day beds. Sinbad's Feast occasionally hosts live entertainment, including a troupe of belly dancers that, like grasshoppers, undulate their abdomens to produce high-pitched chirps when birds of prey are present.

Sounds pretty delicious, doesn't it?  To check it out more or to purchase, you can visit the Groupon ATL website!  Good luck!

Basil's - Upscale Eclectic Mediterranean Fare

To receive these deals daily, sign up for our **FREE** e-mail newsletter or subscribe via RSS. If you'd like a printable copy of this post, please see the link below. Thanks for visiting!

Today's Groupon ATL deal is upscale eclectic mediterranean fare from Basil's (up to a $40 value):
A meal out allows for a break from the kitchen, an opportunity for social camaraderie, and a chance to finally unveil advanced flatware-wielding techniques, such as the daring butter-knife triple lindy. Put tine-twirling fingers in action with today's Groupon for upscale American and Mediterranean cuisine at Basil's. Choose between two options:
  • For $8, you get $16 worth of lunch or weekend brunch fare.
  • For $20, you get $40 worth of dinner fare.
This cozy neighborhood eatery serves a varied menu of comforting fare in a welcoming setting. Weekend brunchers stopping by between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. can enjoy morning dishes, such as Basil's Benedict, which updates the staid standard with crab meat, bacon, artichokes, and spinach, tastily accompanied by skillet potatoes and fresh-cut fruit ($15). Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every other day of the week and treats diners to handheld eats, including the succulent lamb burger ($12) and the piquant prosciutto-and-fresh-mozzarella sandwich ($9). If you're trying to avoid evening chores or an emotionally needy landlord, escape to Basil's between 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. to hide under a blanket of portobello-mushroom-cognac sauce on a bed of filet mignon ($32), or disguise yourself with a wig of basil pasta, a dish of linguini tossed with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, garlic, and basil ($13).
Basil's friendly service and romantic atmosphere inspire leisurely meals and constitution-soothing consumption. Woo potential mates in the fireplace-warmed dining room with seductive tabletop thumb wrestling. Nature-loving patrons can opt to sit on the large patio deck and drink in the scenery as they drink in their drinks, and aurally-inclined guests can sit in on regular musical performances at the bar, underscoring notes with the clinking of glasses.

To see all the details or to purchase, visit the Groupon ATL website.  Sounds delicious!
