Disney Picture of the Day

Today's Disney Picture of the Day is a shot from Animal Kingdom's Camp Minnie Mickey.

This little "camp" is right off the beaten path when you enter Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. If you've never taken the time to visit this little character meeting spot, you are really missing some quality character interactive time.

Over the next few days, I will try to post a few of my pictures from this spot.

Normally, we try to hit Camp Minnie Mickey first "thing" when we enter Animal Kingdom. The day is still cool, and there are never any lines for the characters! (Everyone is too busy running to Kilimanjaro Safari or Expedition Everest.)

Camp Minnie Mickey houses four of the Classic Characters (i.e., Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald). Each one has their own little African-style hut, and you go from hut to hut to visit with each character.

If you go in the early morning hours, the characters are outside their homes and you can easily walk from one to another. In fact, on our last trip, their little camp was so deserted, they ended up playing with us and each other:
