This post is for all my local readers....

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to visit the Sears Fashion Outlet in Lawrenceville, Georgia.  I was invited by a former co-worker of mine, who now helps to manage the outlet store for Sears.

She had been telling me how great the deals were at the store, but because I'm a good 30-min. away, I just never had the time to make it over to her (or I when I did have the time, I would forget about it).

So when I finally remembered Jennifer's words a few weeks ago, I gathered up one of my kids and headed over to the Discover Mills outlet mall to check out Jen and her new store.  (After all, there is a Disney outlet in this mall, so if the Sears store turned out to be a bust, I would still have my silver lining.)

I am happy to report that the Sears Fashion Outlet is everything Jen said it would be.  Not being a big shopper at Sears normally, I wasn't sure I would enjoy shopping at their outlet store, but I am here to tell you that if you live anywhere within driving distance of Discover Mills, you will want to make a special trip there just for the Sears Fashion Outlet.

From the minute I walked in, my eyes could not believe what was laid out in front of me (and you all know how "frugal" I am).  Within 5 minutes of being in the store, I was telling Josh to "go and get me a cart" because my arms couldn't hold anymore.

Within 10 minutes, my cart was piled high over its sides and was about to overflow on the floor around me.  The deals were that good.

Not only is this store a "fashion" outlet, but it's also a Home outlet, and one of Sears big name brands is Lands End.  Yes, that Lands End....I was shocked to see sheets, pillowcases, outdoor pillows, dishes, candles, shoes, clothes, and whatever else I could find with the Lands End label attached to it.

...and when I tell you they carry Lands End, I mean they carry it at true outlet store prices...I don't think I paid over $10 for anything!  ..and I got three HUGE outdoor pillows and other assorted Lands Ends items.

While I was there I was also able to snag items not only for me (er, I mean my "Home"), but for other family members as well.  Men's name-brand shirts were only $5-$7, and kids' pajama 3-piece sets (i.e., Christmas flannel sets) were only $6!  Women's jeans?  Only $5!

I was amazed at what I came out of there with, and I only spent a little over $50!  I promised Jen I would definitely be back, and she promised me they would keep up the pricing on their end!  (Apparently, these are normal prices for the Sears Fashion Outlet!)

So, imagine my squeal of delight when I received an e-mail from Jen earlier tonight that contained a coupon for an additional 10% off their already low prices!

The coupon is good for this Saturday only, September 18th, from 9 a.m. until noon, but if you can get to Discover Mills and the Sears Fashion Outlet during that time, I highly suggest it.

To request your coupon, you can visit the Sears Fashion Outlet fan page on facebook and message them.  (The coupon is a PDF file/flyer.)

Remember Sears' slogan:  Life.  Well spent...for Less!  I hope all of you will take the time to visit the Sears Fashion Outlet inside Discover Mills the next time you are in the North Gwinnett area!

*Thanks Jen for the heads up!
