REVIEW - Zim's Products

Recently, I was contacted by Zim's (naturally based health care products) to review a few of their products and possibly do a giveaway.

I agreed to try the products and let you know about them.

Here are the three products I reviewed:
  • Zim's Max-Freeze - for muscle & joint pain relief

  • Crack Creme - the product Perfecta Products (Zim's Parent company) was originally founded with more than 60 years ago

  • Zim's Heat
For those of you that don't know, in additional to being a travel planner and owning and running three blogs, I work full-time for my County's school system - in an elementary school cafe.  As you can imagine, this job includes lifting heavy objects from time to time and dealing with extreme temperatures (both hot and cold).

Last week, I was burned while carrying something.  It turns out, what didn't feel bad at the time turned into a second-degree burn.  Using the Zim's Max-Freeze on my burn help soothe and heal the skin over the past week.  Max-Freeze contains aloe and Vitamin E -- two things I was told to put on the burn to help it heal.  The product is a clear "gel" (reminiscent of Neosporin) and went on smoothly with no odor.

Zim's says, about this product,
"...provides a cooling sensation and is formulated with naturally-based ingredients including aloe, arnica, and Vitamin E."

I have not tried the Maximum Heat yet, although Zim's tells me it's for, "backaches, strains, and sprains."  As soon as I have sore necks and shoulders again from work, I will be using this product!  Keeping it close-at-hand for now!

The other product Zim's sent me (Crack Creme) has been good for softening and moisturizing.  I originally thought this would be a creme (hence, the name) when I opened the box, but it turns out - it's a spray.  Very nice and handy for easily applying to the areas you need it most.  Here is what Zim's has to say about Crack Creme,
"...an herbal formula used to soften and moisturize dry, cracked skin on hand, feet, elbows, and cuticles using naturally based ingredients of arnica and aloe."

All in all, I have enjoyed using these products from Zim's, and I am very appreciative for the opportunity to try them here at home (especially in my line of work).  They have helped me in the areas of dry skin and soothing hurting skin.  I would certainly buy them and use them again in the future dependent upon how well they worked this time.
