Habits that Produce Godliness

From my devotional today:

"Maturity is when you live your life by your commitments, not by your feelings."

How's that for a good kickoff to your Wednesday?  You GET maturity when you COMMIT, not FEEL.

To go even further:

"The difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is that successful people are willing to do what unsuccessful people don’t feel like doing. They develop habits. They stay committed."

Earlier this morning, my travel agency owner posted the picture above.

Do you want to be successful in life?  Then you have to COMMIT to something, not FEEL like it.

I like this lesson.  It keeps me on my toes and encourages me for a day when I may not FEEL like doing something I have been procrastinating on for a while.

This was a ringing bell for me.  Not only am I a travel agent, but I am starting a little side business on Amazon as a Seller.  I'm totally out of my comfort zone in this new venture, and I am at the point of having to sit down and take some quiet time to learn a few things.

I've been procrastinating and putting it off, but my travel agency owner's gentle message this morning - along with my Bible Study chiming in for good effect - are a pretty solid sign that maybe I need to shift my attn. to the learning curve in front of me!

What is God trying to tell you today?  Are you committing instead of feeling?  Check out Hebrews 11 (below) to help encourage you along your path today!

Happy Wednesday friends!

Heb. 11:27, "By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible."
