The Chicken Salad Chick concept was established in 2008 in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown. When Stacy discovered that the local county health department would not allow her to continue making and selling her delicious recipes out of her home kitchen, she overcame that obstacle by launching her first restaurant with the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin Brown. Together, they opened a small takeout restaurant, which quickly grew.  Under the baton of Scott Deviney, CEO of Chicken Salad Chick and with majority investment partner, Eagle Merchant Partners, the company now has 70 restaurants in nine states across the Southeast.

After much thoughtful consideration, with input from community leaders and officials, Lenox Square has decided to combine forces with Centennial Olympic Park’s July 4th celebration to deliver a more spectacular fireworks show than ever before.

“For years, Lenox Square and Centennial Olympic Park have complemented each other as two of the city’s premier 4th of July fireworks events.  We are now thrilled to have Lenox Square provide support through a generous donation and welcome the patrons who have traditionally attended the Lenox Square celebration to join us at Centennial Olympic Park,” said Jennifer LeMaster, chief administrative officer of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority.  “We look forward to sharing some of the recent – and ongoing - revitalization efforts in Downtown Atlanta and helping them celebrate Independence Day this year in the heart of Atlanta.”

Robin Suggs, General Manager of Lenox Square said, “By partnering with Centennial Olympic Park, which is only nine miles away, we can deliver an even better experience for everyone involved and provide much needed operational relief to the City of Atlanta during a very busy holiday.”

Lenox Square will continue to host the Peachtree Road Race and will be adding additional patriotic activities, offering families a full day of fun in the heart of Atlanta.

“I love the Buckhead community, and I’ve watched it grow and evolve for decades,” said Sam Massell, President of the Buckhead Coalition.  “Lenox Square plays an integral role in how Buckhead has been shaped over the years, and I know we’re all going to enjoy the new patriotic activities they host this year for the community.”
